How to Install Kali Linux on Windows 8 With BCD instead of Grub

PROBLEM:
shakhieducationI have Windows 8.1 64-bit installed on my PC. I have been trying to install Kali Linux using its ISO and Universal USB Installer (1.9.5.2) using a USB drive since the CD drive won't work. The problem is that the Setup will either overwrite my Windows MBR and install Grub which I don't want; I want my Windows 8.1 Bootloader but with the Kali installation for boot up. Is there any workaround for this ?

OTHER SIMILAR PROBLEMS:
1. INSTALLING WINDOWS 8.1 AND KALI LINUX SIDE BY SIDE WITH OUT GRUB BOOT-LOADER

2.DUAL BOOT WINDOWS 8.1 AND KALI WITH UFI MODE
3.MAKE DESKTOP WITH DUAL BOOT OF WINDOWS 8.1 AND KALI LINUX
4.I WANT TO MAKE MY SYSTEM DUAL BOOT KALI WITH LINUX WITH WINDOWS BOOT-LOADER
5.INSTALL WINDOWS AND LINUX WITHOUT GRUB LOADER
6.I NEED A BEST SOLUTION TO MAKE WINDOWS BOOT-LOADER AS DEFAULT WHEN I WORKING WITH WINDOWS AND LINUX
7.I AM FACING PROBLEM WITH GRUB LOADER SO CAN I CORRECT THIS WITH WINDOWS BOOT LOADER
8.If I would be able to install Kali inside Windows (like Ubuntu), that would be even better.
Any help is appreciated

BEST EVERGREEN SOLUTION WORKS 100% .I TESTED THIS:

SOLUTIONS:

REQIREMENTS :

1.WINDOWS 8.1 INSTALLATION DISK/ISO
2.KALI INSTALLTION DISK/ISO
3.EASY BCD EDIT BEST TOOL

STEP1 : INSTALL WINDOWS 8.1 USING CD/DVD/FLASH TOOLS FROM USB
STEP2: THEN DOWNLOAD EASY BCD TOOL FROM HERE. AND INSTALL THIS TOOL IN WINDOWS 8.1 .THEN SHUTDOWN WINDOWS( DOWNLOAD EASY BSD TOOL FROM HERE)
STEP3: BEFORE GOING TO INSTALLATION OF KALI YOU NEED TO BURN IT IN A DISK OR MAKE A FLASH USB USING UNIVERSAL FLASH TOOL (DOWNLOAD UNIVERSAL FLASH TOOL HERE)STEP4: THEN INSTALL KALI AS USUAL PROCEDURE
STEP5:  WARNING :FOR INSTALLATION OF KALI YOU HAVE TO PLACE SYSTEM FILES IN ANOTHER EMPTY PARTITION/DRIVE
STEP5:  CHANGES MADE IN KALI INSTALLATION
               A)  AT DRIVE SELECTION --> SELECT MANUAL-->SELECT DRIVE --> MAKE PARTITION TYPE EXT4 FILE SYTEM --> ROOT / SELETION -->DONT TURN ON BOOT FLAG HERE(IF YOU WANT WINDOWS IN KALI GRUB MENU THEN TURN ON)->DONE-->INSTALLATION TAKES PLACE--> INSTAL PACKAGES ->MIRROR NETWORK(IF YOU NEED THEN INSTALL OTHER WISE SKIP THIS STEP ALSO)--->WHEN IT ASKING FOR  install grub on MBR, select no, then write name of the linux boot partition eg:/dev/sda5

  • here sda5 is the drive where you installing kali Linux(It is depends on your choice.be careful if you select yes when kali asking "install grub on MBR "then your windows bootloader will be deleted by kali .then you can't do anything )
  • The above step will give you Kali will install the grub into that partition without overwriting the windows bootLoader.
  • complete kali installation.then login using root and password.shutdown.then restart your computer
  • don't worry here you don't find any kali windows here it normally gives windows 8.1
  • Now loginto windows and use EasyBCD tool to add Kali linux on Windows Boot menu.

But this will give you old windows 7 style menu back. Start the EasyBCD tool and under utilities section open console and type "bcdboot c:\windows" This will bring the graphical boot menu.

now shut down your computer.then restart ...................enjoy
